The 2nd Annual S-N-L* King of Clubs Regatta is scheduled for Saturday, July 28, 2007. Hosted by Nahant Dory Club. The race is open to all PHRF-rated cruising boats, and will follow a course marked in Broad Sound. The race starts in vicinity of Joe Beach Buoy, Nahant at 1:00 pm.

The Nahant Dory Club will host a barbeque on the club patio for skippers, crew, members and guests at 6:00 pm. Prizes to be awarded to the overall winner and to the first and second place finishers in each yacht club.

Event Fees:
$20 – skipper and boat entry (includes race and barbeque)
$10 – post-race barbeque party (crew, members and guests)

All profits to be donated to GLSS (Greater Lynn Senior Services)

RACE DAY-PLEASE NOTE: Correction in the course description given yesterday via email.  The reach mark in the G-shaped course is approximately a 135 degree left turn (not 225 as noted) from the windward mark. 

Restricted Area:   The area north of buoy BR “DBR”, also referred to as “the Spindle”, contains shoal waters.  All boats shall honor buoy BR “DBR” and not sail between it and the shore to the north.
