Strip-planked Alaskan yellow cedar on white oak.
Rebuilt 62 hp Perkins diesel installed.
Custom steel and wood cradle.
Ballast keel mold with some lead included.
Built by Ferd Nimphius Boat Works ("Building of Brilliant" - Narrated by Charles Kuralt - YouTube).
Have conceptual plans for redesign as pilothouse motorsailer.
Hull is done, deck beams in place; rig design and layout below to be completed.
In a barn until fall of 2020, now tarped.
